Jackfruit Balls

While the debate over the origin of meatballs may never end, with Persians, Italians, and Swedes as the primary claimants, this plant-based 'Jack'-ball recipe has its roots in ancestral jackfruit trees of Uganda. With an Eastern flair for added flavor, this recipe is crafted to deliver a satisfying meaty bite. Serve it over pasta or spaghetti, or alongside tortillas or fries for a delicious meal

Jackfruit Samosas

Samosas are a classic staple in South Asian cuisine that have gained popularity worldwide, perhaps due to their adaptability to locally available ingredients or their convenience as a finger food for either an entrée or a snack. Jackfruit samosas are vegan-friendly, adding yet another spin to this versatile dish. This recipe is crafted to preserve the authenticity of the quintessential Indian samosa

Jackfruit Burger

This jackfruit burger patty recipe offers a sustainable twist on a timeless favorite. Traditionally rooted in meat, our innovative take embraces plant-based goodness but promises a satisfying hearty bite to fulfill every burger craving. Serve it on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, mayo, and ketchup for the perfect meal

Jackfruit Rolex

Ugandan rolex (no, not the expensive watch brand!) is a popular and affordable street food that is essentially an egg omelette rolled inside a flaky chapati (flatbread) - taking its name from how its assembled (shortened to 'rolex' from 'rolled eggs'). It's popularity is not surprising given how easy it is to prepare and that it serves as a go-to choice for any time of the day. This vegan recipe ironically replaces its namesake - the 'egg' - with young jackfruit but promises to taste even better than the original Ugandan delicacy that rolex has become!
